Celebrant | Resilience Coach
As a celebrant I specialise in funerals and ritual-making. My focus is on supporting positive memory-making. My role is all about listening. Listening so I can support people through times of grief and change. Any words as a celebrant, come from this listening, to people, memory, context and the ways you want to honour and celebrate a life. The process begins with a phone call, a conversation on your wants and needs. Next step is meeting, face-to face or online. Working together to the ceremony suited to you. Finally a conversation on the details, confirming and refining before the day.Stress and adversity, are familiar in my work and we will create a safe, productive connection to achieve the ceremony that will live happily in your memory. If I am not the right person for you, I will gladly introduce you to others in our diverse and caring celebrant community.

“My resilience is gone, I don’t have any.”I hear this often, and it is a great place to start building resilience.
We are all resilient, even and I suggest especially, when we don’t feel it.If it isn’t feeling challenging, even overwhelming, we don’t need resilience. Difficulty is the start of resilience. My resilience coaching built up with friends, colleagues and clients who felt challenged, overwhelmed and unable to cope. They asked me because of my life experiences, told here in an article I wrote recently.I've heard many tales of tough times. Teaching me that we are all resilient, even and especially, when we don’t feel it.
How It Works:
First Steps Towards A Resilient Me!
Resilience coaching is a simple process, we book 6 to 8 sessions. The first will be longer the others, between 60 and 90 minutes. The others are 45 - 60 minutes.
For groups and organisations, I deliver facilitated programmes, face to face and online, via my company metierassociates.co.nz
